About Dura-Con
In 2002 I started off with partner building speculation homes for resale purposes. Within a few months we received requests to build homes for random clients. We realised this was a huge market we could tap into.
Within a year we closed contracts for homes up to 800m² and had work in Kempton and Pretoria. Due to the workload at that time and the distance we decided to each do our own thing and I based myself in Pretoria where things went from strength to strength. Two years later I started my first commercial project where we re-developed an old office building into accommodation.
Since then, we have completed over 1000 lower income units in Pretoria and Johannesburg CBD. The New homes, addition and renovations market also grew and we have done more projects than I can remember over the last 19 years. Anything from a granny flat to 5-star lodges, 36-unit townhouse complex and homes of 1200m².

Our Process
We supply a Project management service at a average cost of 5-10% of the total tender, dependent on project size. The following duties are included in our fee:

If you want it quick you have to sacrifice costs for good quality. If you need it cheap you have to sacrifice time for good quality. If quality is your main concern, then we will find a balance between time and costs to suit your needs. But we never sacrifice quality.
